Two nominations for Fife College Dunfermline Campus for the Learning Places Scotland Awards 2026
We’re delighted to share that Fife college Dunfermline City Campus has been shortlisted for Project of the Year and Sustainability Project of the Year at the Learning Places Scotland Awards 2026.
Submitted in partnership with Balfour Beatty, the nomination reflects the hard work, commitment and collaboration of everyone involved in delivering this landmark project.
It’s fantastic to see the project recognised in this way. Congratulations to the whole team, and we look forward to celebrating with colleagues and peers in November.
Winners at the Scottish Design Awards
Reiach and Hall Architects are delighted to share that two projects have been recognised at the Scottish Design Awards 2026, which celebrate design excellence across Scotland’s architecture and creative industries.
Pine Place, delivered for New Gorbals Housing Association, received a Gold Award in the Residential – Multi Unit category. The development provides 10 terraced family homes and 18 flats, including accessible homes, supporting the continued regeneration of the Gorbals through thoughtful, people-centred design.
Eden Mill St Andrews, delivered in collaboration with Opfer Logan Architects for Eden Mill St Andrews and the University of St Andrews, received a Silver Award in the Commercial Building category. The project brings together distillery production, visitor experience and landscape within a carefully integrated industrial framework.
Now in its 29th year, the Scottish Design Awards provide a national platform for work shaped by Scotland’s people, places and culture, judged by peers who understand the local context and its challenges.
Congratulations to both project teams and to our clients - New Gorbals Housing Association, Eden Mill St Andrews and the University of St Andrews - for their vision, trust and collaboration.
Four Scottish Design Award Shortlistings
We’re delighted to share that Reiach and Hall Architects have received four shortlistings at the Scottish Design Awards 2026. Pine Place has been shortlisted in the Residential Multi‑Unit category, while the Eden Mill Development Framework has been recognised in Regeneration and Masterplanning.
In collaboration with Opfer Logan Architects, the Eden Mill Distillery & Visitor Centre, St Andrews has also been shortlisted in two categories: Commercial/Office/Hotel Building or Project and Retrofit.
These shortlistings reflect the commitment, talent and care of our extended project teams, collaborators and clients, and we would like to thank everyone involved for their trust and collective effort.
Kilmartin Museum Shortlisted for RIAS Awards 2026
We’re delighted that Kilmartin Museum has been shortlisted for the RIAS membership Awards 2026.
The project sits at the heart of Kilmartin Glen, supporting the museum’s role in caring for and interpreting one of Scotland’s most important archaeological landscapes.
We look forward to welcoming the judges to the site and sharing the story of the project, the collection, and the community it serves.

Fife College nominated for two Scottish Property Awards
Fife College, Dunfermline City Campus has been nominated for two Scottish Property Awards: Net Zero Development of the Year and Development of the Year (Public Buildings)!
As the first net-zero-ready tertiary education building in the country, it’s also one of a select few pathfinder projects for the Scottish Government’s Net Zero Public Sector Buildings Standard, setting new standards for mainstream sustainable construction.
The design brings together low-carbon materials and modern methods of construction with flexible and innovative learning spaces to support students, staff and the wider community for years to come.
It is among the first projects to receive independent verification of its embodied carbon emissions, achieving an industry-leading embodied carbon footprint of 560 kg CO₂e/m² for the Teaching Building. This is a significant achievement for such a highly technical facility. It’s been a privilege to be part of this journey as architects, working alongside a brilliant team of designers, consultants and contractors.

Pine Place shortlisted for Social Housing Development at the Scottish Home Awards
We are delighted to announce that our recently completed Pine Place Housing for the New Gorbals Housing Association has been shortlisted for Social Housing Development of the Year (up to 100 units) at the Scottish Home Awards 2026! The awards will be announced on the 18th June 2026.
In collaboration with New Gorbals Housing Association and CCG, we've delivered 18 flats and 10 terraced houses adjacent to the Gorbals Rose Garden in Glasgow.
