Prime Minister's Better Public Building Award 2010
The British Construction Industry Award results have been announced and our New Stobhill has won the Prime Minister’s Better Public Building Award 2010.
"New Stobhill Hospital has brought dignity to civic design and delivery has exceeded the client's aspirations. There is an incredibly high level of design and it is built to a very high standard." Judges' comment.
“This is an outstanding achievement by everyone involved with the New Stobhill Hospital project. Their success, in a really strong field, shows once again the huge impact that investment in high-quality design and really efficient procurement can make to people’s lives. These principles should continue to be taken up in all future public building.” Architecture Minister John Penrose.
