Grand Prix and Best Public Building wins for New Stobhill Hospital
Reiach and Hall's New Stobhill Hospital won the 'Best of the Best' Grand Prix Award and the 'Best Public Building' Gold Award at the 2009 Roses Design Awards ceremony in Nottingham on 23 October. It was named 'Best New Building outside London'.
The judges said the hospital broke new design ground: “...For a PFI project this is light years ahead of any other hospital, an absolutely outstanding project.” Judges' Citation, Roses Design Awards 2009.
The Roses Design Awards is an annual competition open to design and architecture companies outside the M25 boundary.
